At my school we have a file share system that the entire school can get on. Their is everything from recipes to lesson plans on it. The site really comes in useful when looking for ideas.

I have heard of this. I think it is a great idea in theory. What I don't like about it is educators paying for lesson plans. I think that lesson plans should be shared freely, just like other information and ideas.

From my own experience as a teacher, I can see that there are some who are so secretive of their activities, or plans that it is ridiculous. I have been blessed with a wonderful mentor who shared everything with me - even my cooperating teacher. But some teachers have a problem sharing plans or activities which took them a long time to create and devise. In a way it understandable when you have one teacher who does absolutely nothing and then comes along and wants all your plans or ideas. That would bother me too. But it also depends on the person. Unfortunately not every teacher acts professionally and is collegial to one another. You just have to know your peers.
Selling plans - who knows, maybe this is the future where the internet will take us. In the end it's just another business transaction!
